Buying on Multipass takes a couple of minutes, and you don't even need an account.
The short version
- Open the event page — from a link the event shared, or by browsing Explore Events.
- If the event has multiple dates or times, pick your date on the calendar, then choose a time to see available tickets.
- Choose your ticket type and quantity, and add them to your order.
- Answer any questions the event asks during checkout.
- Pay. Done — your tickets appear on your receipt page and in your email.
Good things to know before you click
- Tickets are held for 10 minutes. Once a ticket is in your order, it's yours for ten minutes while you complete checkout. If time runs out (or you release them), they go back on sale.
- Prices and fees are shown up front. The event's ticket price plus service fees are displayed before you pay ("Fees: … Total: …").
- Promo codes: enter yours via the "Enter a promo code" prompt on the event page — codes can discount tickets or unlock hidden ticket types. If you followed a special link, your code may already be applied.
- Some tickets are time-limited or capped. If a ticket won't add to your order, it may be outside its availability window or nearly sold out.
- Guest checkout is fine. You can create an account during checkout, but you don't have to. (An account does make transfers, refunds, and re-downloading tickets easier — see Accounts, Guest Checkout & the Mobile App.)
Why does the payment page look different?
Multipass uses Stripe, a leader in payment security, to process payments — the payment form is hosted on Stripe's servers. Your card details never touch Multipass.
After you pay
- Your receipt page shows a QR code for each ticket.
- A receipt email arrives with your tickets attached as a PDF.
- With an account, tickets are always available under My Account → My Tickets and in the Multipass app.

Seeing a pending charge but no tickets?
Rarely — after a sell-out mid-purchase or a connection hiccup — you may see a pending pre-authorization on your bank account. That's not a charge, and it clears automatically within 5–7 days. If you were actually charged and didn't get tickets, contact Multipass support and we'll make it right.
Questions about the event itself?
Refund policies, lineup, age limits, and so on are set by each event host — their contact info is at the top of the event page and in your receipt email.
