Multipass is a comprehensive platform that combines ticketing, membership, and a commitment to improving the event host experience. This article focuses on the ticketing features of Multipass and how it enhances the ticketing process.
Ticketing Features
- Event Creation: Create and sell tickets for both physical and virtual events. Events can have single or multiple ticket types, with different pricing or even free entry. Host your event on Multipass with free tickets at no cost to you.
- Facilitating Entry: Multipass provides multiple ways to facilitate entry and validate tickets, ensuring a seamless experience for both organizers and attendees.
- Ticket Control: Schedule ticket availability with start and end times. Offer tiered ticket pricing (e.g., early bird, general admission.)
- Promo Codes: Set usage limits for promo codes (e.g., single-use, multiple-use). Generate and distribute single-use codes manually or automatically. Unlock hidden ticket tiers with valid promo codes - great for early-bird access or discounts for volunteers.
- Comp Tickets: Issue complimentary tickets using email addresses or claim codes/links.

- Followers receive updates about new events
- Paid memberships for organizations let you provide exclusive access to tickets or discounts

Ticket Transfers and Sharing
Assigning Names to Tickets
When creating a ticket type for your event, you can set the ticket type to require that attendees assign names to tickets at time of purchase. You can use these names for at-door verification. Check attendee IDs and search for names using a search function within the app. This is also helpful if you don't have the app or internet access at your event -- you can print out your attendee list and simply check IDs at the door.
Ticket Transfers
Purchasers can transfer tickets using the recipient’s email address. Recipients will need to sign up for an account on Multipass to obtain their tickets.
Shared Tickets
You can also assign tickets to others's names without transferring ownership. Retain control while allowing others to access tickets for entry. This is a good feature to use if you are arriving at an event at a different time than your friends that you have tickets purchased for.
You will be able to retrieve shared tickets if they are not used and reassign, transfer, or sell them.
Specialized Event Options
Curated Invite-Only Events
Collect contact information from interested attendees via an Interest List opt-in form. From the list of interested attendees, event admins can choose attendees to offer tickets to, and send unique, time-limited invitations.
Lottery Events
Set up a ticket lottery for events that have high demand and limited tickets available. You can optionally set up a password to hide the lottery signup by default.
